The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Reverend Karl Zeuner can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Father Zeuner was special to me. He took me under his wings the first few days I was a freshman at Drexel. During my first two year there, he would always pull me aside to check in on how I was doing. His calming voice and open ears helped me in so many ways as a young man. He lived is faith and preached it through is actions. His influence has spread far and wide. I am blessed to have know him.

I am saddened to learn of Fr. Zeuner's passing. When my parish church, St. John Chrysostom, has conducted a communal penance service, he was frequently in attendance. When I did the sacrament with him the first time, I suspect it was because the line outside his confessional was shorter than the others'. But, after that, it was because I found him and his comments so spiritually uplifting. I shall truly miss him.

Condolence: So very sorry to hear of Father Zeuner's passing. He was a very special person who touched the lives so positively of all those he came in contact with. Heartfelt sympathy is extended to his loved ones and to the Notre Dame community who, I am sure, held a special place for Father Zeuner in their hearts as my family and I.

Condolence: Father Zeuner was the pastor of St. A/J's when I was a student at Penn. I was baptized and confirmed into the Church there.

May Father Zeuner be at rest and his sins forgiven. I hope to see him again in heaven one day. Your memory will not be forgotten.

Condolence: I feel blessed to have known and worked with Father for so many years. He was a priest who lived and shared his love of God with all and I wouldn't be surprised to learn he's smiling that he lived through another "March Madness".
